How It Works

Hunters deliver their harvest to the processor to help feed the hungry.  Click here to see our list of processors. It is greatly appreciated, but not required for the hunter to pay the skinning fee (typically $20) as a donation.

Our processors will process and freeze the venison for pickup.

Next, our dedicated volunteers will pick up the frozen packaged venison, and deliver to our food banks, churches, and shelters that are in desperate need for protein to feed the hungry. Click here to see our list of partner agencies.

Finally, our good shepherds will give the frozen venison packages to the needy, or cook the venison for a delicious meal for the needy.

Processors

We invite you to work with the processors who share our vision in helping to feed the needy in the Lowcountry.  Currently we are using the following processing companies, many have been in business for 20 years.  In the future, HHH will add more processors in different areas of the Lowcountry as the organization grows, and funding is available.

We appreciate all deer harvest donated by the Lowcountry hunters.  We ask that all harvested deer be delivered to the processor in a timely manner.  The processor has the right to refuse any deer.  HHH prefers to process harvest deer that weigh a minimum of 75 pounds so we can be good stewards of our resources.
